Towngas China Company Limited has reported a profit attributable to the shareholders HKD302.47 million, or 12.31 cents per diluted share, for the first half ended June 30, 2011, compared to HKD171.99 million, or 8.78 cents per diluted share, for the first half ended June 30, 2010.
Turnover for the first half of 2011 was HKD1.96 billion, compared to HKD1.24 billion for the first half of 2010.

Towngas China Company Limited is an investment holding company. Its subsidiaries are principally engaged in the sales and distribution of piped gas in China, including the provision of piped gas, construction of gas pipelines, the operation of city gas pipeline network, the operation of Gas Fuel automobile refilling stations, and the sale of gas household appliances.
