Asia Satellite Telecommunications (HKG:1135) announced that with effect from 1 February 2012, Mi Zengxin has resigned as a deputy chairman due to the company's internal arrangement and remains as a non-executive director of the company; Sherwood P. Dodge has been re-designated from chairman to deputy chairman of the company; and Ju Weimin, a non-executive director of the company, has been appointed as a chairman of the company.
