China Mobile, the country's largest telecommunication operator, yesterday launched vice phone number business for subscribers in Shanghai to avoid harassment of SMS spam. 

Subscribers have no need to replace mobile phone and SIM card with a new vice number and free to choose either number to make and receive calls, send and receive SMS.

The business will charge eight yuan monthly fee and 5 yuan for choosing a new vice number.
