Hefei Meiling Co.Ltd (000521.SZ) and Anhui Wenergy Co.Ltd (000543.SZ) both announced a change in chairmanship on Wednesday.

Liu Tibin, chairman of Huayi Compressor Co.and vice chairman of its parent company Sichuan Changhong Electronics Group Co., was appointed as chairman of the seventh board of Hefei Meiling Co.,Ltd in place of Zhao Yong, who had been in service since 2006, the Anhui-based electric appliance maker said in the announcement.

The appointment is said to facilitate cooperation between Huayi Compressor Co.and Hefei Meiling Co., as the former has been supplying key refrigerator parts to the latter.

On the same day, Anhui Wenergy Co.Ltd announced Bai Taiping, chairman of the state-owned energy company, has submitted a retirement application to the board and its vice chairman Tang Daju will act as chairman before a board election takes place.
