Taiwan-based Chunghwa Telecom (CHT), Taiwan Mobile (TWM) and Far EasTone Telecommunications (FET) on December 16 kicked off sale of 16GB, 32GB and 64GB versions of iPhone 4S bundled with a 24-month contract.

CHT has so far received pre-orders for over 210,000 iPhones, while the pre-ordered volumes for TWM and FET each are more than 100,000 units, according to industry sources in Taiwan.

The contract-free retail prices for iPhone 4S are NT$24,900 (US$826) for 16GB, NT$28,900 for 32GB, NT$32,900 for 64GB, the sources said.
