Tanrich Financial Holdings (HKG:0812) says that it expects financial performance for the six months ended 31 December 2011 to be adversely affected by the recent downturn in global financial market.

The current adverse financial and economic conditions are having a negative impact on the group's principal activities. In addition, the fair value of the group's investments may have been impaired. As a result, it is expected that the financial performance and results of the group for the six months ended 31 December 2011 would be significantly affected.

Nevertheless, the board is of the view that the financial position of the group remains solid and that it is well placed to withstand the adverse impact arising from the current global financial downturn. The interim results of the company for the six months ended 31 December 2011 are expected to be announced by the end of February 2012.
