China Electric Power Technology (HKG:8053) announced that its unaudited third quarterly results for the nine months ended 31 December 2011 may experience an increase in net loss as compared to the corresponding period of 2010.

Such increase in net loss was due to an increase in net loss from school network integration services during the period and the decrease of revenue from discontinuation of the operation of information technology services in the electricity industry in June 2011.

The company expects to release its results announcement for the nine months ended 31 December 2011 on 8 February 2012.
