As at 31 December 2011, the power generated by Huadian Power International Corporation Limited (SHA:600027, HKG:1071) and its subsidiaries for the year of 2011 was 150.76 million MWh calculated on the basis of the consolidated financial statement of the group, up 15.71% on year; and the on-grid electricity sold was 140.84 million MWh, representing an increase of 16.11% compared with that of last year.

The growth of power generation was mainly attributable to the additional power generated by the newly operated generating units and newly acquired power generation enterprises of the group.
