China Investment Fund Company (HKG:0612) expects to record a loss for the year ended 31 December 2011 as compared to the profit for the year ended 31 December 2010.

Such loss was attributable to the disposal of subsidiary and decrease in the net realized gain on disposal of financial assets.

The company expects to release its results by the end of March 2012.
