Yintai Department Store, the leading retailer in Zhejiang Province, will start business in Hunan market and open a new store in Wuhan-Guangzhou New Town in the provincial capital Changsha, according to a source inside the industry yesterday.

 “The first phase of construction has started and when Yintai will come to Hunan is dependent on its progress,” said the source, who added that Yintai, which had strong financial support, will start another round of “fierce” competition among traditional retailers and at the same time, it will become a leader in e-commerce businesses as it was strengthening its capabilities in this field.
