March 26th, Chengdu Kobelco Crane Co., Ltd. held its grand plant completion ceremony & product exhibition in Jingkai Area. Chengdu Kobelco crane manufacturing base is jointly invested by Japan Kobelco Crane and Chenggong Construction Machinery Co., Ltd. The plant covers 200 mu, with the total investment of CNY 400 million and registered capital of CNY150 million. On December 31, 2011, the plant was completed and put into operation. On January 19, 2012, the first 260T crawler crane rolled off the production line. It is predicted that the facility will have produced various models of crawler cranes 360 units by 2015, achieving the total industrial output value of CNY 5 billion and profit and tax revenue of CNY 645 million.
