August 11 -- China United Network Communications (China Unicom) (600050, 0762.HK) signed agreements with Changjiang Securities (000783), Jiangsu Xinri Electric Bicycle and Hubei Tongjitang Pharmacy, reports Changjiang Times, citing an unnamed source.

China Unicom hopes to offer information application services to major accounts in Hubei province.

The agreements were to enhance Changjiang Securities, Xinri Electric Bicycle and Tongjitang Pharmacy’s information applications in order to improve their sales and administrative processes.

The chairman of Tongjitang Pharmacy said that the company has developed healthcare software used in mobile phones, and it plans to provide value-add services to the mobile phone users, including health documents and text message services.

China Unicom has successfully provided information application services for thousands of companies, and it has entered into the mobile office, Internet of things and e-commerce industries.
