August 11 – China Shipping Container Lines (601866) raised transportation charges for several routes this month, reports Shanghai Securities News, citing a company filing.

Charges for routes from East Asia to South America rose US$500 per TEU. The company will charge another US$400 per FEU for routes linking East Asian and America’s Atlantic coast.

China Shipping will charge an additional US$ 400 per FEU for routes linking East Asia to America’s Pacific coast effective August 15. For routes from to Europe, charges rose US$25 per TEU and US$50 per FEU effective August 15.
