September 5 -- United Overseas Bank (UOB) confirmed that it is one of the cornerstone investors of China Everbright Bank's (601818.SH) H share initial public offering, reports China Business News.

Everbright Bank had confirmed 12 cornerstone investors, which will subscribe to one-third of the bank’s total shares outstanding before its Hong Kong listing, according to previous media reports which cited informed sources. 

In addition, UOB is the second-largest shareholder of Evergrowing Bank, with a stake of 14.71 percent
