Hong Kong-based carrier Cathay Pacific Airways has reopened its First and Business Class lounge at Frankfurt International Airport in Germany after a makeover.
The revamped facility in Terminal 2 of the airport spans 370 square metres and replicates the look of The Wing and The Pier lounges in Hong Kong International airport. The reception space of the remodelled lounge in built in Carrara marble donning white shades. It has been equipped with the Long Table which facilitates dining and serves as a workspace too. The lounge has a seat capacity of more than 100 following the facelift.
The lounge now also features three shower stalls and offers free Wi-Fi access throughout. The look is complemented by artistic pieces by Maria Lobo. Among the other features of the renovated lounge are an upgraded buffet spread along with a snack line in the front portion.
Special works of art designed by Hong Kong artist Maria Lobo for Cathay Pacific are also displayed to enhance the ambience of the lounge.
The lounge also features desktop computers with printers and internet access in addition to a newspaper stand featuring a selection of local and international newspapers.
