Catcher Technology, a Taiwan-based maker of magnesium-alloy casings for notebooks, had consolidated revenues of NT$3.211 billion (US$106 million) for October decreasing 15.84% on month but increasing 4.91% on year, according to the company.
The on-month drop was less than the 20% originally expected by Catcher because of an imposed temporary stoppage at its factory by the local government in Suzhou, eastern China. Catcher has improved its manufacturing process and applied to resume operations in mid-November.
Catcher's January-October consolidated revenues of NT$29.992 billion hiked on year by 77.99%.
