Suning, a home appliance retailer, signed a three-year agreement for strategic cooperation recently, aiming for “bundled development” with all of Midea’s product lines through Suning’s sales channels. The total sales are expected to exceed 50 billion yuan.
Midea’s products will come into all of Suning’s store formats, such as Expo Super Flagship Store, Community Store and Elite Store, in the next three years. With Suning’s expansion into smaller Chinese cities, Midea will work together with the home appliance retailer to explore third- and fourth-tier markets.
