METRO Group launched its online shopping center early this month. But consumers could not log on to its site right now as it was still under development.
Representative from the retailer told reporters that they were testing its e-commerce solutions and will provide relative details on the launch of the official version soon.
METRO has already made several attempts in Chinese online retail market. It made its debut in the field on Tmall.com last December with the help of its e-commerce team. In addition, it worked together with Sunshine Share Smile and built an online shopping center specialized in imported food products late last year.
