Chinese city Guangzhou has channeled great effort into developing and promoting the use of alternative energy vehicles, under the guidance of Made in China 2025, a ten year national plan issued by China’s State Council. Against this backdrop, the 7th China(Guangzhou) International New Energy Automobile Industry Expo 2016 will be held in Guangzhou between July 15 to June 17.
The year of 2016 is the first year of China’s 13th Five-Year Plan, and China will transform and upgrade its automobile industry and achieve rapid development and advance in this year. Statistics shows that China has sold more than 370,000 alternative energy vehicles in 2015, emerging as the biggest market for alternative energy vehicles.
Among all the Chinese cities, Guangzhou stands out as a very important consumer market of alternative energy vehicles. This Chinese city has already introduced several preferential policies to promote the development of alternative energy vehicles. In a strategic planning of Made in Guangzhou 2025, issued by the city in this March, Guangzhou is aiming at developing the industry of energy conservation and alternative energy vehicles as one of the Top 10 Industries in Guangzhou and achieving a sales record of 1 million alternative energy vehicles by 2025.
It’s known that this Expo will cover alternative energy vehicles, power driven systems, charging facilities, parts of alternative energy vehicles, smart automobiles and the Internet of Vehicles.
