According to Geely’s latest data, Boyue and Emgrand GS sell 8,142 and 4,600 units in June respectively, driving Geely’s sales volume to increase 41%. Geely has a total sales volume of 280,000 units in the first half of year, accomplishing 47% of the annual target. Geely sells 46,574 units vehicles in June, increasing 40.8% with the same period of last year and 2% with May. The single monthly growth has reached a new historical high.
The high growth is mainly resulted by the domestic sales growth, which is more than 40% in June. Sales volume in foreign markets has a large decrease, influenced by political and economic factors. Domestic sales volume increases 46.4% to 45,619 units, while foreign sales volume decreases 49.8% to 955 units. It can be concluded that Geely relies more on the domestic market as a result of the unstable factors in foreign markets.
