China Southern increases capacity due to high demand

   Date:2011/10/26

From 1 November Asian airline China Southern will begin daily flights from Guangzhou to Auckland.

This increase in capacity is in response to a growing demand for visits to New Zealand.

China Southern is one of the region's largest airlines, carrying just over 70million passengers in 2010. They commenced flights direct to New Zealand in April this year, and quickly announced plans to increase capacity.

Tourism New Zealand continues working alongside China Southern Airlines to build demand for the services. TNZ has also been working in partnership with Chinese travel sellers to ensure our visitors from China are aware of the range of fantastic experiences available to them in New Zealand.
